Dancing with Parkinson's Class
In-Person Classes: Dancing With Parkinson's
Tuesdays, June 23 to August 25th, 10:45 AM to 11:45AM (in-person)
We are continuing to offer free in-person dance classes at The Dance Centre thanks to our ongoing collaboration with Dancing with Parkinson's Canada and BC Brain Wellness Program at UBC. Classes are designed for those living with Parkinson's but open to all, including caregivers and anyone who would like to experience the joy and benefits of moving together to music.
Using the Dance for PD® Method as its foundation, the research-backed classes provide physical and emotional benefits for those who participate. Dancing With Parkinson's classes are an effective, fun, and artistic experience, centred on creative self-expression and meaningful connection.
