Inverso is proud to announce LIFT Festival 2026, a celebration of intergenerational dance comprising workshops, talks, and a performance! Join us on May 17th at The Annex and on June 3rd and 4th at The Roundhouse to connect across ages through movement. 
This event is based on a belief in dance as means to connect beyond words towards a greater depth of understanding across age groups. As our relationships shift over time, this dynamic from parent to child, care-giver to care-receiver, mentor to mentee transforms. The intention of this Festival is to highlight the diversity of our collective lived experience, to inspire a fresh view on aging in society and include representation of older adults as part of our pluralistic community in performance. Ultimately, it is about how we all lift each other up.

Join us for an evening of duets choreographed by Lesley Telford. Featuring two live performances and a short film, “DUETS” explores how we connect: the relationship in its simplest form, full of complexity.

If I Were 2 (2017)
A collaboration with writer Barbara Adler about the Narcissus myth, exploring the subjective nature of our perception of others. Originally commissioned for Ballet BC in 2017.

Spooky Action Film (2021)
The film version of Inverso's celebrated project. Filmed at TRIUMF's particle accelerator, the jetty at Iona beach and in city tunnels to highlight concepts of particle entanglement.
